This litter was by a quite unknown dog, Bordrocks Lizz' Ollie, living in our neighbourhood and owned by friends of us. By seeing him in his daily life my mother really appreciated the qualities of this dog as she was looking for a sire of Alva's third litter, this was the first time Alva didn't choose the sire of her puppies by herself. Ollie has a very nice head and expression, such an easy going character and with a pedigree that is not very common in Sweden. His dam is imported from New Zealand and his sire holds the same lines as our foundation dogs by being linebreed to Ch Trientalis Faganz.

They gave a nice litter of four puppies together were two of them would be the famous brother and sister, NORDUCH NORDJ(g)CH SVCH Hux Flux Fred Flintsten and SUCH DKUCH NORDJ(g)CH SV-04 KBHV-07 Hux Flux Freja Flintsten. Åsa & Gert of Svinghammars kennel had seen Alva at the working trials in Finland and booked a puppy from her litter so Freja went to the south of Sweden and kennel Svinghammars.

She started out with a succesful career already as a puppy and 9 months old she entered the rings in Stockholm at the Swedish Winner Show 2004. From the junior class she was beating all the Champions and awarded Best Bitch, CC, BOS and Swedish Winner by Mr Dan Ericsson, breeder of Raglan Scottish Terriers and one of Sweden's most respected judges. This was just the start of it!

Judged by breed experts she has several BOB awards with Group placements and BIS placements from the Terrier Group. In the highly competitive region of Skåne, the south of Sweden, she has been constantly placed at their yearly Breed Special, one time as BOB, one as BOS and most lately as the Runner Up. It's always about 100 of Border Terriers at this show and the toughest of competition. Two times in a row she has been the Runner Up for the Swedish Winner title again, both in 2007 and 2008 but in 2007 she also catched the Danish Winner title, KBHV-07 in Copenhagen. Even in Denmark she has been Best Bitch and BOS at their yearly Breed Special for Mrs Tricia Clark of the Gameway kennel.

So if she is a beauty queen, could she actually work as a pure breed Border Terrier is supposed to do? Looking at her titles it's no doubt about that, she is a Swedish Working Champion, Finnish Working Champion, Danish Working Champion and by that a Nordic Working Champion and winner of working trials.

As she is 5 years old and had a couple of litters she is not shown more then at special occasions lately but she definitely still got it! In 2008 she ended the year by being BOB at the Terrier Derby, a prestigous specialty hold by the Terrier Club every third year and by this Freja ended up as the 3rd Most Winning Border Terrier in Sweden 2008.

Thank you Åsa & Gert for taking care of all the potential in this wonderful bitch and we wish you all the best with your further breeding plans for Freja!

She made her official debut as BOS & Swedish Winner from the junior class, judged by Mr Ericsson of the Raglan kennel.

Turid Stamne of the Damdyke kennel was judging the southern Breed Special and found her bitch winner & BOS in MultiCh Hux Flux Freja Flintsten.

When the Pietiläinen sisters of the Heathberry's kennel came to Sweden to judge the southern Breed Special Freja was their choice of BIS-Winner.

Once in a while she is visiting Denmark... This time she was Best Bitch and BOS at the Danish Breed Special, judged by Mrs Clark of the Gameway kennel.

She has several Group placements from the Terrier Group in different parts of Sweden. Here she is visiting the regions where she born and getting placed BOB & Res-BIS at the Terrier Club in Karlstad.

Being 5 years old and a mother of 2 litters doesn't stop this Nordic Working Champion from winning the Terrier Derby in 2008 and by that ending up as no 3 Top Winning Border Terrier of the year.
